Strix, a leading manufacturer of kettle controls and cordless connectors have become the first company to be awarded a Certificate of Registration following assessment against the requirements of the ASTA BEAB RoHS Quality Management Module.
This assessment module is based upon and is supplementary to the requirements of ISO9001:2000 and demonstrates controls and processes relating to RoHS have been rigorously assessed.
The approval covers Strix Isle of Man, Chester and Guangzhou (China) manufacturing sites. Kevin Sweeney of ASTA BEAB presented the RoHS Certificate to Peter Inglis, Strix Group Engineering & Quality Director at Strix HQ on 14th June. In addition, Strix is committed to Health and Safety and have recently obtained certification to OHSAS18001:1999 (Occupational Health and Safety) from ASTA BEAB.
