ASTA BEAB Sign Agreement with Korea Testing Laboratory 31/05/2005A delegation from Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) headed by company President, Dr Jong-Hee Hong Ph.D, recently visited ASTA BEAB's UK Headquarters to sign a mutual recognition and certification agreement between the two companies.
The two Certification Bodies currently carry out factory inspection services for the other organisation, as well as working together through their membership of the International CB Scheme.
The new agreement will help facilitate the provision of the product certification of one party based on the testing carried out at the other party's test laboratories.
ASTA BEAB's Chief Executive, Mike Vint, said "we are delighted to achieve such a far-reaching agreement with KTL that will help our respective clients to get easier access to the ASTA Diamond and BEAB Approved marks for products manufactured in Korea, and marketed in Europe, and the K-mark for products exported to Korea", "the agreement heralds a new era in the cooperation between our companies and we look forward to developing the relationship in the years ahead".
